How to use PupBooks for your dog grooming business.

Dashboard

The dashboard shows revenue (this month), outstanding invoices, expenses, and net profit. Recent invoices appear below. Use it to see your business health at a glance.

Clients

Add clients with name, email, and phone. Search by name, email, or phone. Client details auto-fill when you create an invoice. Go to Clients → New Client to add one.

Invoices

Create invoices from Invoices → New Invoice. Choose a client, add the pet name, select services from your catalog, and set due date. Filter by status (Draft, Sent, Paid, Overdue) and search by client, pet, or invoice number.

Services

Define your grooming services and default prices in the Service Catalog. Add name, description, and price. Services appear when creating invoices. Toggle Active/Inactive to hide services you no longer offer.

Expenses

Track business expenses with date, category, and amount. Filter by date range and category. Categories (e.g. Supplies, Equipment, Utilities) help you see where money goes.

Reports

The P&L Report shows revenue, expenses, net profit, and profit margin for any date range. Use This Month, Last Month, or This Year for quick ranges. View expense breakdown by category and download a CSV.

Settings & Billing

In Settings, update your organization name and payment handles (Venmo, PayPal, CashApp). Manage your subscription from Billing — upgrade, cancel, or update payment method via Stripe.
