What is PupBooks?

PupBooks is a financial register made for dog groomers. Track invoices, clients, payments (Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, cash, check), expenses, and P&L reports — all in one place. It works in any browser and on your phone.

Who is PupBooks for?

PupBooks is built for professional dog groomers: mobile groomers, salon owners, solo groomers, and pet spa owners who want to keep their finances organized without spreadsheets or complicated software.

How much does it cost?

PupBooks is $14.99/month. One plan includes unlimited invoices, clients, services, expense tracking, and P&L reports. No per-seat fees or hidden charges.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start, and you will not be charged until your trial ends. You can cancel at any time before the trial expires.

Can I use PupBooks on my phone?

Yes. PupBooks is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works in any modern mobile browser. You can install it to your home screen for a native app-like experience — no app store download required.

Can I track Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, and cash?

Yes. When you record a payment on an invoice, you can choose how the client paid: Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, cash, check, or card. Add your payment handles in Settings so they appear on your invoices.

Does PupBooks track expenses?

Yes. Add expenses with categories (e.g. Supplies, Equipment, Utilities) and see them in your P&L report. Filter by date range and category. Your expense breakdown helps you understand where money goes.

Is my data secure?

PupBooks is hosted on Cloudflare's global infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Billing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-compliant. We do not store payment card data on our servers.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time from the Billing page inside your account (Settings → Billing). This opens the Stripe customer portal where you can manage or cancel your subscription with no cancellation fees.

What happens when my trial ends?

At the end of your 7-day trial, your account will be charged for the Pro Plan. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. After cancellation, your data remains accessible until the end of the billing period.

Can I export my data?

Yes. PupBooks includes CSV export for P&L reports. If you need a full data export, contact our support team and we will provide your data in a standard format within a reasonable timeframe.
